On August 15, 2025, the brethren of Freemasons in Madurai came together at Freemasons Hall to celebrate India’s Independence Day with pride and reverence.
The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag by R.W.Bro. R. Vijayasekar, Assistant Regional Grand Master of the Madurai Area. His presence added dignity and inspiration to the gathering.
The celebration was attended by W.Bro. S. Lourdes Terry, Worshipful Master of Lodge Meenakshi No. 269, along with members of Lodge Meenakshi and brethren from other lodges in the Madurai region. The hall was filled with a sense of unity and patriotism as all stood together to honor the nation.
The morning was not just about ceremony, but also about remembering the values of freedom, service, and brotherhood that guide Freemasons in their journey.
